It’s a funny thing, isn’t it, putting yourself out there. I’ve got so many stories inside me, and so much passion for the world of pregnancy, birth and families. I don’t yet know what kind of shape this blog will take…for certain I’ll share my beautiful clients and their stories, and I’m sure I’ll share interesting birthing information every now and then, and maybe even a rant or two if I feel so inclined. I’ll also share some of myself and my family, after all they are my inspiration and my motivation.
2015 has been a huge year for me so far. Welcoming my second daughter in April was exhilarating, life affirming and terrifying. It’s also been the year that I really began to focus on building my business into something, the first step of which was acknowledging to myself that I might just be good enough to photograph people and turn it into something.
This photo sums up my current focus. Two gorgeous girls who are still learning to co-exist. Pyjamas being worn all day. Random baby detritus and books splayed around the house. Older daughter clinging to her sparkly shoes and chewed dolly as if her life depended on it. If only you could have seen my vomit stained tracksuit pants…ahh the glamour.
